Life happens whether or not you're paying attention. These beautiful shoots are in my front garden and by the height of them they've been peeking out for at least a week. That's about four weeks earlier than last year. I haven't been out much lately and when I have, it's from the side door to the car and back, so I didn't have my eyes open to nature as much as I usually do. I just love the little surprises and the promise of new life when I remember to take the time to look :).

Yup...here too - first signs of early spring!
You just can't leave them alone for a minute...when you turn your back they are up....so early! wow!!!!!
Spring, and nature in general, is so magical. And yes we should stop and notice the small details in each day.
