Seems the blogging community is abuzz with "followers" activity. I have no clue how this will affect me, but I copied and pasted my blog list into a word document so I don't lose all those links just in case they disappear at the end of the month "poof". I added a Follow by Email, Subscribe to RSS feed as well as a Follow Me Linky gadget for a few options if you do want to follow my brain. You can join Linky Followers without having a blog, but I won't push that on you.
Just remember Brain Angles or my name Michelle V. Alkerton and most search engines show me in the top five and you can usually find me limping through cyberspace linking with the cool sites in the left sidebar.

Thanks Harvest Moon. A few blogs I follow have posts about Google Friend Connect being discontinued at month's end, but as I'm unsure if it's fact or rumour I thought I'd err on the side of caution. I follow hundreds of blogs and I don't want to lose them :).

I came back to tell you I've been reading about the google friend connect and it won't affect bloggers who blog on Blogger. Only non-blogger sites, so the changes should not affect you since you are with Blogger and not Typepad or some other place.
Thanks Lisa. Many have said it will be leaving Blogger also at some point in the not so distant future. I was more concerned with blogs that I follow as not all are on Blogger :), but I figured I'd prepare my blog for anything. lol
