That is a really good idea! I moderate so that I know there is a comment posted. since it is e-mailed to me, but your idea of replying by e-mail is even better. :)
Good idea - I have all my comments come to my email cuz I don't want to miss one. And I rarely go back to where I've left a comment to see if they respond so this will make me happy :)
