aged bloom

More fun. This time I created my own background pattern by combining my art and photos, then erasing with watercolour and crack brushes. After applying the pattern I then enjoyed a little computer artistry with the rose image. My pattern called disturbed4 was created for a different size and orientation so the full effect hasn't been achieved with this image, but I'm learning :). I attempted the roll over feature again, but bizarre Blogger bugs were messing with my mind and showing my other image unless I clicked on the post title.

Here's the background pattern layer I created.

What a very cool texture layer! Aren't you clever to have figured out how to do that?! The warm colors will work with lots of images and those cracks will add some interesting shapes/textures. Good job!

Love that ageing; this is really atmospheric. I wish I could do tricks like that:)
